Dog Accessories with a Purpose — Handmade in the Czech Republic
FUNKY DOG is a registered charitable foundation and dog accessories brand, founded in 2015 on a straightforward idea: make things properly, from materials that don't harm the planet, and return part of the proceeds to animals in need.
Over ten years, we've redistributed more than 3.5 million CZK to shelters and rescue stations across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and all over the world. Every purchase is part of that.
What You'll Find Here
Our range starts with what we look for ourselves — and can't find on the market. It began with dog bow ties and bandanas, sewn in a sheltered workshop. Today we offer:
Collars, harnesses and leads made from hemp and cotton — natural materials that are antibacterial, moisture-resistant, and kind to both dog skin and the environment.
Yellow ribbons — a practical signal for dogs who need space. A clear message without having to explain anything to strangers.
Dog bow ties and bandanas — hand-sewn in a sheltered workshop, from fabrics free of harmful substances.
Clothes, toys and other accessories — handmade locally with focus on ecological materials.
Dog carrier backpacks —carefully selected products that complement our own production.

Why We Make Things the Way We Do
It's not just about how a product looks. We care about where it came from, what it's made of, and who made it. That means:
- all our own products are made in the Czech Republic
- we work with sheltered workshops and pay fairly
- we choose materials for their eco-friendly and vegan properties
- a portion of every sale goes to animals in need
This isn't a marketing line. It's how we've operated from day one.
Materials That Actually Work
Hemp and linen aren't just a trend. They're materials with proven qualities: naturally antibacterial, quick-drying, strong, and gentle. They don't need chemical treatments to perform. That's why we use them — and why we stick with them.
Our textile products are sewn in a sheltered workshop, where meaningful work goes to people who would struggle to find it elsewhere. For us, that's not an afterthought — it's part of what FUNKY DOG stands for.
