We operate an e-shop on the website www.funkydog.cz.

We process certain personal data to provide goods for sale and to operate our website.

The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

I. Processing of Personal Data

1. Processing of personal data when using the shopping cart

If you inquire about our products, we will process your contact details provided in an abandoned shopping cart. These are: first and last name, email address, and information about the goods you are interested in.

For what reason?

We use them to contact you to remind you of your interest in our goods.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – negotiation of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

How long will we process personal data?

If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 5 years from our last communication or until you withdraw your consent.

2. Processing of personal data in case of order and purchase

If you make a purchase with us, we will process the data you provide. These are mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, email address, telephone number, and information about the goods you purchase.

For what reason?

We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, complaints, or your inquiries.

We will also process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints, etc.).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our service provision and then for 5 years from the delivery of the goods, or until you withdraw your consent.

3. Newsletters (commercial communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and did not opt out during your purchase, we will use your email address to send you our news.

On what legal basis?

We are permitted to do so by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, provided you did not opt out during the purchase.

How long will we process personal data?

5 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or by contacting us at: katka@funkydog.cz

II. Who will have access to the data?

Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or individuals who work for us get access to the data because they help us run our e-shop. They are:

• the operator of the Shoptet e-shop platform (Shoptet a.s., registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Company ID 289 35 675, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 25 395)

We process personal data only within the European Union.

III. What else you should know

We do not have an appointed Data Protection Officer in our company.

Our company does not engage in decision-making based on automated processing or profiling.

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or request a restriction of processing. You can request a copy of the processed personal data, ask us to erase personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to take your claims to court.
