The main upgrade over the PLUS 2 is the carrying system. Ergonomic lumbar support straps and a removable waist belt shift your dog’s weight from your shoulders to your hips, so your lower back survives the longer routes. With fifteen to eighteen kilos of live dog, you feel that difference immediately.

The size chart has been recalculated to fit a wider range of breeds – particularly longer-bodied dogs. Suitable for hiking, day trips, mountains, train travel and the city.

📏 Sizing Guide (measured from neck to base of tail)

• S – small (33–43 cm), chest girth 57–69 cm
• M – medium (43–51 cm), chest girth 58–71 cm
• L – large (51–58 cm), chest girth 65–79 cm

Back length is the deciding measurement – the chest girth ranges for S and M overlap almost entirely, so girth alone won’t tell you the size.

Booster Block (optional): raises your dog’s seating position by roughly 7.5 cm. Worth it for smaller dogs who would otherwise sit too low to see over the edge.

Tip: if you’re between two sizes, go up. Or order both sizes and try them at home – simply send the one that doesn’t fit back within 14 days.

What’s the difference between the Kompanion and the PLUS 2?

The Kompanion adds ergonomic lumbar support straps and a removable waist belt for better weight distribution, reinforced shoulder straps, an updated size chart and a new sleeve for a hydration bladder or cooling pad.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure back length from neck to base of tail and go primarily by that. If your dog falls between two sizes, take the larger one or message us.

Do I need the Quick-Release Harness?

It isn’t required. It pays off if you take your dog in and out often – the harness stays on your dog and clicks back in within seconds.

How long can I carry my dog?

We recommend a maximum of 30 minutes at a time, then let your dog run. Regular breaks are important.
